About the AH Foundation
The Aucoin Hart Foundation was established by Aucoin Hart Jewelers shortly after hurricane Katrina in response to industry partners looking for immediate ways to help those affected by the storm.
Through charitable events and donations the Aucoin Hart Foundation works to improve the lives of those in need throughout the Greater New Orleans area.
The Aucoin Hart Foundation has identified housing, healthcare and education as the most critical areas needed for the rebuilding process and beyond.
The Aucoin Hart Foundation is a tax exempt, non-profit organization under section 501(c)(3)of the Internal Revenue Code.

Past events have included mobilizing a work force to build a house for Habitat for Humanity, as well as in-store raffles for one of a kind, handcrafted jewelry designed by Aucoin Hart’s award winning craftsmen. The combined events have raised over $275,000 for these causes.
2013 Coach Payton Event
The Aucoin Hart Foundation teamed up with New Orleans Saints Coach Sean Payton’s Play It Forward Foundation for a 4th year to raffle a stunning ladies Rolex watch with 100% of the proceeds benefitting New Orleans families and children in need.
2011 Coach Payton Event
Coach Sean Payton once again made a personal appearance at Aucoin Hart Jewelers to sign autographs and pull the winning tickets for a raffle benefitting the Payton’s Play It Forward Foundation. Aucoin Hart Master Craftsmen designed and created a one-of-a-kind diamond Fleur de Lis ring.
2010 Coach Payton Event
The Aucoin Hart Foundation teamed up with World Champion New Orleans Saints Coach Sean Payton and his Play It Forward Foundation to raffle off a stunning black and gold diamond Fleur de Lis pendant, raising more than $70,000 for local charitable groups and garnering a flurry of new media coverage. The hand-crafted piece was raffled during a store event where Coach Payton signed copies of his new book, Home Team.
2008 Coach Payton Event
In the first event with Payton’s Play It Forward Foundation, Aucoin Hart Master Craftsmen designed and created a diamond Fleur de Lis pendant to raffle off during an in-store autograph signing event. 100% of the proceeds benefitted Payton’s Play It Forward Foundation fighting at the forefront for families and children in need.
2007 Habitat for Humanity
With the immediate need for housing in the years following Hurricane Katrina, the Aucoin Hart Foundation partnered with Penny Preville, Town & Country Magazine and Habitat for Humanity to raise National Awareness for the continued need for rebuilding and reviving housing in the New Orleans area.
